Abbreviations

  • St(s) – stitch(es)
  • Ch – chain
  • Sc – single crochet
  • Dc – double crochet
  • Hdc – half double crochet
  • Slst – slip stitch
  • Ls – loop stitch
  • Lsinc – a ls and a sc in the next stitch
  • Inc – increase (2 sc in next st)
  • Hdcinc – increase with hdc (2 hdc in next st)
  • Dec – decrease (2 sc worked off together)
  • 3sctog – 3 sc worked off together (draw up a loop in each of next 3 stitches, yarn over, and draw through all 4 loops on hook.)
  • 3dctog – 3 dc worked off together in next stitch
  • 5dctog – 5 dc worked off together in next stitch
  • (nr) – indicates the total number of stitches in the current row/round
  • ()* – repeat the instruction before the star all around
  • FO – fasten off
  • ()2-times – repeat the instruction standing in pharanthesis twice
  • ()3-times – repeat the instruction standing in pharanthesis 3-times
  • Fpsc – front post single crochet
  • JOIN – slip stitch in the 1st stitch of the round
